OVERVIEW


HIGHLIGHTS!

Benefits begin at the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Employee coverage for medical, dental, vision and short-term disability is covered 100% by Fairchild Freight. We also offer 401(k) options with an employer match of up to 8%.


SHORT-TERM DISABILITY (STD)

Fairchild Freight provides STD at no additional cost through Mutual of Omaha. This benefit covers 60% of your salary up to $1,000 per week for up to 25 weeks.



MEDICAL & PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE

Fairchild Freight is proud to offer three medical plan options through United Healthcare. Coverage under all plans includes comprehensive medical care and prescription drug coverage.

Plan Options: HDHP $3,200 | PPO $6,000 | PPO $2,000


VOLUNTARY PRODUCTS

You have the option to purchase Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage, accident insurance, and Critical Illness coverage for you and your family. Fairchild also offers you the option to purchase Long-Term Disability for additional income protection.



HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

By enrolling in the HDHP $3,200 medical plan, you get access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) provided by Lively. Fairchild will contribute a total annual contribution of $600 over the course of 26 pay periods.


EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

You and your household members have access to Mutual of Omaha's Employee Assistance Program to help with everyday challenges in life. You and your family members have up to 5 face-to-face sessions with a counselor (per household per calendar year) and unlimited telephonic visits.



401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN

To help prepare for the future, we sponsor a 401(k) Plan through CBIZ. We offer a discretionary match, which is determined at the end of the plan year.


ALLSTATE IDENTITY PROTECTION

We offer the option to purchase comprehensive identity protection for you and your family. Benefits include: Allstate digital footprint, 401(k) and HSA monitoring, password manager, lost wallet protection and more!



DENTAL INSURANCE

Two dental plans (Base and Buy-up) through United Health Care. Both plans offer orthodontic services to children only.

VISION INSURANCE

Fairchild Freight offers a vision plan through Mutual of Omaha, powered by EyeMed. The plan covers eye exams, eyeglass lenses and contacts once every 12 months, and frames once every 24 months.

 

TIME OFF

  • PTO | Time off under this policy includes extended time off, such as for a vacation, and incidental time due to sickness or to handle personal affairs. New employees will receive 120 hours (3 weeks) of PTO annually. This will increase based on years of service to 240 hours (6 weeks).
